Born 17th January 1879 in Avellaneda / Buenos Aires – Died c.20th Buenos Aires
Guitarist educator and Argentine composer of which the ‘Dictionary of Guitarists’ states:
"After initially studying violin, he later devoted himself permanently to the guitar. Iparraguirre was a well known personality in Buenos Aires, where he was based. He made a large contribution to the guitar as an author, publishing 313 various works in less than two decades. Many of them were based on Argentine folklore, and ‘Variations on the Vidalita’ shows the eloquence of his originality. As a teacher, he was active in the ‘Academy Sors’, of which he was a director. He also produced many didactic works and studies.”
